“During the conference, Minister Hayward held a bilateral meeting with the Hon. Abena Osei-Asare, Deputy Minister of Finance and the Hon. “Minister Hayward also met with the Hon. “About Afreximbank: African Export-Import Bank [Afreximbank] is a Pan-African multilateral financial institution mandated to finance, facilitate and promote intra and extra-African trade. At the end of December 2023, Afreximbank’s total assets and guarantees stood at over US$37.3 billion, and its shareholder funds amounted to US$6.1 billion.”

Minister Hayward remarked, “Bermuda cannot afford to be complacent in the face of today’s rapidly changing global economic landscape. “The ACTIF/AAM conference is a vital step in this journey, enabling us to strengthen partnerships with our CARICOM peers and lay the groundwork for collaboration across the African continent.
